WIP WIP Hooray: Evolution of eye makeup

I did something different than usual today. I abandoned my old eye makeup habits and decided to follow a new routine.

I started with fixing the brows first using brow pencil and black eyeshadow. I created a line first then another set of lines on the top. Then blend and draw to make the brows look fuller. Then I brush and brush it until it gets into its right shape.

Next, I worked on my crease or the "fake lids". Before that, I set my eyes using the lightest beige eye-shadow. Then blend it over. I start with the bottom tail using two lighter brown shades then drew a line on the front tail using brow pencil. Then blend and blend it with darker brown eyeshadows. I keep adding more darker shades to satisfy the shadow lines on the crease part.

Third, is the upper eyeshadow. I used 3 variants of brow to bring out that shadowy/ombre effect onthe upper corner of the eye. Then I patted some red eyeshadow on that part.

Fourth, I set the lower lid for the fleek part. I used two dark brown shades to bring out that effect. Going back to the upper lid, I used angled brush and dark brown pencil for the fleekfleek. Then I blend black eyeshadow over it. Then a thin line of black under it using pen liner. I blended lots of brown eye pencil to make my lower lids fuller. Then used some black eyeshadow for the smoky effect. I proceeded with extending my eyeliner using a penliner and some blending using black eyeshadiweyeshadow.

Then, I used white and light beige colors to highlight the inner corner of the eyes.

For the final touch, I blended another line under the drawn lower lid lines and blended using the color same as the color of eye pencil I used (brown in this case). Blend blend blend using black and the same dark brown eyeshadow. I patted another red on that part extending to the fleek. I fixed my eyeliners using black eyeshadow.

The final touch is the mascara. I curled ky eyelashes then mascara. Emphasizing the lower lash part and the outer corner lashes.

There. So many steps I did but it was worth it. Eyelid tapes were optional.

Thoughts:

I basically liked this step. This is less exaggerated and brings out the fuller version of my lower lids. I realized hiw important it is to blend especially the crease part and not play with colors. I might try this with face tape then on another character if ever. Below are the pictures.
